Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with variable weekend and call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required prior to travel
• Travel experience required - unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Service lines include Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Hard stop requirements: Must have Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic experience
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice and to Outpatient as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Patients served include adults and geriatrics
• Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• No holiday RTO will be approved during blackout dates: November 23–29 and December 21–January 3
• 36 orientation hours required
• Required certification: BLS
• Required charting system experience: Epic
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required skills include: Craniotomy, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar Fusion, ALIF, XLIF, Total Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, Transplant (solid organ), Cholecystectomy, Colon Resection, Hernia Repair, Laparoscopic Procedures, GYN procedures, and additional general OR skills
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
