Operating Room RN Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Atlanta, Georgia. You'll work 4x10-hour shifts on a days schedule with variable weekend and call requirements to be discussed during your interview.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required
• Prior travel healthcare experience required—this position does not accept first-time travelers
• Must have hands-on experience with Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic procedures
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I or II experience preferred

Core Skills: Craniotomy, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar Fusion, ALIF, XLIF, Total Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, solid organ transplant, Cholecystectomy, Colon Resection, Hernia Repair, Laparoscopic Procedures, GYN procedures, and general OR skills.

Service Lines: You'll support Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics. Floating within the facility and to Outpatient is required as needed. Patient ratio is 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends. You'll care for adult and geriatric patients.

Contract Details: 112-day assignment beginning August 10, 2026. You'll receive 36 orientation hours. Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract. No holiday requests will be approved during blackout dates: November 23–29 and December 21–January 3.

Support Available: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary support the OR team.

Compensation: $2,510 per week.
