RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Day shift position with a patient ratio of 1:4
• On-call required, typically 10-12 days per month with every other weekend required
• Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital when on call
• Weekend coverage required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted if highly experienced
• Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Conscious sedation and telemetry skills required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Required skills include: Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Cardiac Stent Placement, Circulating Procedures, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Left Heart Catheterization, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Right Heart Catheterization, and Starting/Maintaining IVs
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Interdisciplinary support available including Respiratory Services and Interpretation Services
• Florida license or compact license required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Must pass EKG exam (3 attempts allowed)
• No floating required outside of scope
