CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with no lunch break
• Guaranteed hours up to 40 per week
• On-call required
• Weekend coverage possible if needed but not typical
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted - minimum 100-mile radius rule applies
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT), ARRT Advanced Certification (HARD STOP requirement)
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• Required equipment experience: GE
• Preferred equipment experience: Toshiba
• Required general skills: IV starts, contrast administration, venipuncture, PACS
• Required CT procedures: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CT arthrography, myelography, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction, 3D rendering
• Preferred CT procedures: aspirations, brain perfusion, drainage, colonography, enterography
• Work settings include outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, and adult ICU
• Preferred experience in Level I trauma, NICU, and PICU settings
• Must be a seasoned technologist knowledgeable in trauma, angios, ED, inpatient, outpatient, and procedures such as biopsies and drainages
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Cultural sensitivity to the Alaska Native population is required
• Scrub color: any color or pattern
