CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• No on-call required
• Daily caseload ratio of 1.5:1
• 1 year of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with experience
• Floating to other buildings within the facility may be required
• Guaranteed hours subject to facility calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Must have strong pediatric CT skills and ability to work independently
• Siemens experience is required; must be proficient with Siemens Drive - Somaris 7
• Trauma Level 1 experience required
• Children's hospital experience required
• IR/Angio/Special Procedures experience required, including Paracentesis and Thoracentesis
• Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, and pediatrics
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Agency must supply radiation badge
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R)(CT), ARRT Advanced Certification, South Carolina license in hand at time of start
• Required skills include: abdomen without and/or with contrast, brain perfusion, chest without and/or with contrast, coronary CTA, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, pediatric acute care, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, vascular CTA, and PICU
