ICU Registered Nurse Job in Greenwood, SC

Self Regional Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel position in their Intensive Care Unit. You will work 3×12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with weekend shifts required. This 91-day assignment begins August 24, 2026, and offers a weekly pay of $2,195.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience required
• Travel healthcare experience required; first-time travelers are accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Experience managing a patient ratio of 2 patients
• Community hospital experience preferred

Clinical Responsibilities:

You will deliver direct patient care in the ICU with occasional float assignments to the Cardiac ICU and other areas within the organization. Your responsibilities include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, care of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure, arterial and central line management, administration of continuous IV sedation, titration of cardiac and vasoactive medications, BiPAP/CPAP management, mechanical ventilation support, arterial blood gas interpretation, airway suctioning, and adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Common Patient Populations:

You may care for patients with GI bleeds, COPD exacerbations, cardiac and respiratory arrest, overdose, alcohol withdrawal, neurosurgical conditions, post-cardiac catheterization recovery, end-of-life care, organ procurement patients, acute stroke, trauma, and targeted temperature management cases.

Special Procedures and Equipment:

The unit utilizes specialized equipment and procedures including CT tube insertion, external ventricular drain management, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), acute stroke protocols, Zoll targeted temperature management systems, and EKOS technology.
