Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on a 4x10 schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Weekend hours as required by the facility
• Call requirements as required by the facility, including the possibility of being asked to pick up additional shifts
• Perform specialized MRI procedures on patients, producing diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist
• Provide patient care essential to MRI procedures and apply principles of MR safety
• See approximately 15-16 outpatient MRI patients per day
• Work with Hitachi open MRI and GE 1.5 equipment
• Use Epic and Visage PACS electronic medical record systems
• Experience with Neuro, MSK, body, and other MRI types required
• 3-5 years of MRI experience required (minimum 3 years with open Hitachi experience; 5 years preferred)
• Open Hitachi and GE experience preferred
• May be required to float to another offsite imaging location
• Traveler must be available the entire first week for orientation on day shift
• Required licensure: ARRT - MR
• Required certification: BLS
• Dress code: Black scrubs, no logo; no crocs or open-toed/open-heeled shoes
• Physical demands include pushing/pulling up to 46 lbs of force, carrying 25 lbs, gripping up to 50 lbs, and frequent hand coordination
