Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Located on the 5th floor Medical/Oncology unit with 30 beds
• Night shift staffing includes 4-6 RNs depending on census
• Patient ratios of 1:6 for both day and night shifts
• Estimated patient ratios range from 1:1 to 3:1 and are not guaranteed
• Work with remote telemetry equipment
• Utilize Meditech EMR system
• Perform and assist with procedures including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and medical management
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care Med/Surg experience required
• BLS certification required
• Surgical and medical experience preferred
• Med/Surg experience required; Mom/baby experience with NRP preferred
• Must be outgoing with a can-do attitude and outstanding customer service skills
• Must be independent and confident in own skills and judgment
• Will often work with one other RN or alone with resources available on the floor
