ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - CCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required, specifically Friday and Saturday nights
• 12-week assignment
• Float between Critical Care and Intermediate Care units based on facility needs
• Critical Care patient ratio is 1:2
• No on-call required
• 2 years of recent Adult ICU experience required
• Must be able to independently manage critically ill patients with minimal orientation
• Strong critical care experience required including cardiac rhythm and 12-lead EKG interpretation, Code/Rapid Response, vasoactive drip titration, sedation, insulin/heparin infusions, and arterial/central line management
• Must be comfortable managing ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow oxygen, ABGs, and airway/suctioning
• Stroke/NIHSS, sepsis/septic shock, DKA, chest tube, and blood product experience required
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Pennsylvania RN license required; ASN accepted
• Epic charting system experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• One pre-approved time off request permitted per contract
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
