ICU RN Job in Clarion, PA

WVU Clarion Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its 8-bed Intensive Care Unit. This is a 91-week travel assignment beginning October 6, 2026, offering $2,079 per week.

Schedule & Expectations

• Work 3x12 rotating shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend on block scheduling basis
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call, standby, or floating requirements

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage patients with a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Primarily care for cardiac and neurology patients
• Titrate drips and manage titratable and set-rate drips
• Interpret cardiac rhythms using Nihon-Kohden monitors
• Troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment as needed; RT covers all ventilator management
• Charge nurse on each shift accepts patient assignments
• No nurse aides or patient care techs on the unit

Staffing & Support

• Hospitalist with resident or mid-level provider available for night call coverage
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Scrub color/dress code: Any
• Orientation shifts vary based on experience

Requirements

• Prior ICU experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS (AHA), and PALS certifications

Cancellation Policy

• 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
