ICU RN Job in Philadelphia, PA

You'll work as an RN in a 20-bed mixed critical care unit at Temple University – Jeanes Campus in Philadelphia. This role covers medical, cardiac, surgical, and neuro patients with no trauma cases. You'll maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio and may float to med/surg with telemetry as priority, or to the ED for admission holds only.

Schedule & Duration

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, nights
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts required as needed
• 90-day assignment
• Start date: October 12, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,670

Experience & Certifications

• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Patient Cases You'll Manage

You'll care for patients with sepsis, ARDS, chronic kidney disease, multi-organ failure, overdoses, opioid use disorder (OUD) and substance use disorder (SUD), and bone marrow transplant complications.

Helpful Skills & Experience

The following are helpful but not required: TNK (tissue plasminogen activator) for stroke, withdrawal management for OUD populations, and bone marrow transplant knowledge. Equipment experience with Belmont Rapid Transfuser, NX Stage CRRT, Arjo, and Stryker Altrix is also valued but not essential.
