ICU RN Job in Clarion, PA

WVU Clarion Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for their 8-bed ICU unit. You'll work three 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, with the option of days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), or straight nights. Weekends and holidays are required as scheduled; you'll work every other weekend and every other holiday using block scheduling. There is no on-call, standby, or floating requirement.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing direct patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3
• Titrating drips and managing both titratable and set-rate IV medications
• Interpreting cardiac rhythms on Nihon-Kohden monitors
• Working alongside respiratory therapy for ventilator management
• Collaborating with hospitalists and mid-level providers available for night call coverage
• Charting in MEDITECH

The unit commonly treats cardiac and neurology patients. You'll work independently without nurse aides or patient care techs on the unit. The charge nurse handles patient assignments to ensure fair distribution of workload.

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Prior ICU experience required
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• PALS certification
• BSN not required

You may wear any scrub color. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning December 7, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,209. If you have ICU experience and the required certifications, you're ready to make an impact on this team.
