Cath Lab Technologist Job in Margate, FL

You'll work as a Cath Lab Technologist in the cardiac catheterization lab at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, FL. This is a backfill travel position running 91 days, starting August 24, 2026.

Role and Environment

The cardiac cath lab operates 4 rooms with 1:1 patient ratios. Day shifts include a Charge RN, Director, and 4 staff members per room for 16 total per shift. Night shifts operate on-call with 3 members per call team and 7 total on-call staff. You'll be expected to be flexible and adapt to unit needs, including frequent on-call requirements.

Daily Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterizations, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons, and ENT lab procedures
• Assist with scrubbing and room setup
• Work with GE Innova equipment across all rooms
• Document and manage patient information using Meditech and MacLab EMR systems
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios and support patient care throughout procedures

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current ARRT certification
• Competency in Special Procedures and GE Innova equipment
• RCIS certification is preferred

Compensation and Schedule

4x10 day shift, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Weekly pay is $2,650.
