Respiratory Therapist Job in West Valley, UT

Holy Cross Hospital – West Valley is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) on a schedule that includes every other weekend.

In this acute care role, you will:

• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized respiratory therapy plans
• Conduct diagnostic testing including arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests (PFTs), EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry
• Implement and evaluate respiratory interventions to achieve patient outcomes
• Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities as needed
• Provide on-call coverage outside standard scheduled hours per department and facility policy
• Work flexible hours before and after shifts and overtime exceeding 40 hours per week as required

Requirements:

• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, PALS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP)
• One year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Residency within 60 miles of the facility required

You will use the EPIC charting system in this position. Weekly pay is $1,892.16. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic acute care environment while maintaining flexibility in your travel schedule.
