Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Acute care setting
• On-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours may be required per department and/or facility policy
• Position may require flexible hours before and after standard shifts and overtime in excess of 40 hours per work week
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, implement and evaluate therapy plans
• Conduct diagnostic testing including arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests (PFTs), EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry
• Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities
• Must reside within 60 miles of facility
• 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Charting system: EPIC
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP) required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS
