Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM or mid-shift from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM (5x8s per week)
• Every other weekend required per schedule
• May be included in holiday rotation on a 4-week rotating schedule
• No on-call or standby call requirements
• 4-week rotation schedule with no self-scheduling; facility will work with scheduling requested time off
• Average of 90-100 treatments per day
• Cover inpatient areas including med-surg, PCU, and ICU, as well as ER, rehab, PACU, SNF, endoscopy, cath lab, same day surgery, and outpatient ABGs and 6-minute walks
• Treat adults, pediatrics, and neonates (no NICU; neonates seen in ER or pediatric setting only)
• Perform floor duties, breathing treatments, ABGs, capillary sticks for I-Stats, and manage respiratory equipment
• Assist with intubations only; independent intubation not required
• No EKG responsibilities
• Equipment includes Puritan Bennett 840 ventilators, BiPAP V60s, and Airvo 2 high flow devices
• Charting system: Cerner
• 1-3 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation with a preceptor as needed
• Teal scrub color required; acceptable scrub pattern shirts permitted
• Prefer 3-4 years of experience; first-time travelers will be considered
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or CRT (those grandfathered in by the WV Board of Respiratory Care are acceptable) via NBRC
• West Virginia license required
• Must reside within 50-mile radius; unexpired driver's license must be submitted with application
• Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission
