Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Cardiovascular/thoracic, Transplant, and Robotics (Thoracic) experience preferred
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• Holiday work expected based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Bronchoscopy, Cardiothoracic robotic surgery, Care of scopes and fiber optic equipment, Carotid Endarterectomy, Case Cart, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Crash Cart, CVOR, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Fiber optic light sources/cords, Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing, Instrument Processing, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Lung resection/Thoracotomy, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Sterilization/Disinfection, TEVAR, TAVR, Trauma, VATS, Vein stripping, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and airway management
