Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour shifts with variable days Monday through Friday and variable start times at 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM
• Start times will remain consistent within the same week
• Tuesdays and Fridays feature later start times for in-services and team meetings
• No self-scheduling; scheduling managed by the manager
• On-call requirement of 1 call shift (weeknight or weekend) per 4-week schedule
• Weekday call begins at end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning
• Weekend call is 24 hours (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM) and rotated between staff and travelers
• Call response time is 30 minutes; call room is available
• No floating requirements
• Must have cardiac experience
• Must have ENT experience including FESS (sinus), septoplasty, cochlear implant, tympanoplasty, and laryngoscopy in addition to soft tissue procedures such as thyroid and parathyroid
• DaVinci Xi robotic experience required (GYN, URO, General)
• Minimum one year of scrubbing experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Common cases include GYN, Urology, Vascular, Plastics, Orthopedics (total hips/knees), Neurology, Cardiovascular, Thoracic, General (Breast/HPB/Bariatric), Sports Medicine (Hand/Podiatry), Kidney and Kidney/Pancreatic transplants, and ENT procedures across 16 total service lines
• Average 50-65 cases per day across 22 suites (with capability for up to 26) on 3 different floors
• Teal scrubs provided
• Traveler must bring their own earphones during the first week of orientation for online training onsite
• Required certifications: BLS
• Must be registered with Washington State; graduate of an accredited school required
• Washington State license required at time of submittal; no pending licenses will be reviewed
