NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour rotating shifts, working both 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
• Patient ratios of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float required to like assignments throughout the hospital, potentially to Liberty campus
• Level IV NICU experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU specialty required
• Ventilator and trach experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Ohio single state or compact multi-state license required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Care for neonates and infants with high acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions
• Patient diagnoses include Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Intraventricular Hemorrhage, Prematurity of the Neonate, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Necrotizing Enterocolitis, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, Pulmonary Hypertension, and more
• Operate specialized equipment including Nitric Oxide, Servo Ventilators, Hi Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, Oscillators, Arterial Lines, Peritoneal Dialysis, Giraffe Beds, Moog Feeding Pumps, Bili Lights and Blankets, EVD, Shunts, G-tubes, and Trachs
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
