Job Details:

• Provide peri-operative care of surgical patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse
• Assist surgical team during operative procedures
• Use instruments and medical devices during surgical procedures
• Provide exposure, handle and/or cut tissue, and provide hemostasis and sutures
• Arrange and inventory sterile set-up for operations and pass items as needed to operating team
• Assist in preparing and moving patients and cleaning the OR theater
• Follow infection prevention standards and safety measures
• On-call responsibilities required with call rotation and holidays required as needed
• Must be able to work independently and hit the ground running
• EMR system: McKesson
• Dress code: Business casual or matching scrubs
• 2+ years of current CSFA experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Skills checklist current within 1 year required
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Active NBSTSA/FA certification required
