CT Technologist Job in Charlotte, NC

You will work as a CT Technologist in the emergency department at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a 91-day travel position starting August 5, 2026.

Schedule & Hours

• 3x12 day shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only
• Hours: 7:45 PM to 8:15 AM
• 36 hours per week
• No call requirement
• No float requirement

Role & Environment

You will perform CT procedures in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Your daily caseload spans 150–200 scans across 4 rooms, with each technologist typically handling 15–20 patients per 12-hour shift. You will manage routine ED scans, Code Stroke cases, and Level 2 trauma patients across all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Procedures & Competencies

You will perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction.

Equipment & Systems

• Required: Proficiency with Siemens FORCE scanner (candidates without FORCE experience will not be considered)
• Required: GE scanner experience
• Charting: Epic
• Unit systems: Epic, Visage
• Preferred skills: outpatient, IV starts, PACS, contrast, Visage

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT)
• Required skills: inpatient, ER, Adult ICU
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Compensation & Details

Weekly pay: $2,339.28. You will wear royal blue scrubs.
