Physical Therapist Inpatient Rehab Job in Corpus Christi, TX

You'll work as a Physical Therapist on an inpatient rehabilitation unit at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is a 13-week travel assignment running 5 days per week, 8 hours per day on day shift, with at least 2 weekend days per month required.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluations and treatments for inpatient rehabilitation patients on a 15-bed unit
• Manage a patient ratio of 5 patients per therapist
• Coordinate with speech therapy on Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) assessments
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system for documentation
• Operate basic lift equipment and standard therapy equipment
• Float to acute care hospital units as needed
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including 4.5 PT/PTA staff, 4 OT/COTA staff, and 0.5 rehab tech on day shift

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current BLS certification
• Hospital experience is required—candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• CARE scoring experience preferred
