Physical Therapist Job in Galveston, TX

UTMB Jennie Sealy Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Galveston, Texas. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 40 guaranteed hours per week (note: no guaranteed hours during the first 2 weeks of your contract).

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct evaluation, development, coordination, and implementation of physical therapy interventions for patients
• Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that physical therapy delivery meets all legal, ethical, and institutional standards
• Adhere to department and organization philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures
• Participate in HCSS virtual orientation via Microsoft Teams
• Complete Epic training in-person at the campus

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program
• Current license to practice in the State of Texas
• Minimum 3 years of outpatient experience
• Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) certification
• AHA BLS certification

Compensation and Contract Details

You will earn $2,448 per week. This is a 13-week contract with a start date of March 2, 2026. You will be based at UTMB Jennie Sealy Hospital, a respected facility in Galveston, Texas.
