Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Float between inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide 7 treatment hours per day with combination of IP/OP patients
• Holiday rotation may be required as discussed during interview
• Required certifications: BLS and Texas national license
• Wound care experience preferred but not required
• IP/OP experience required
• Treat patients with general PT cases including fractures, orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, 10-15% neurological cases, and some amputations
• Work with SNF patients with general conditions, wounds, orthopedic, neurological, and debility cases
• Handle acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled, and outpatient cases
• Work with supportive nursing and therapy staff including 2-3 PTAs and 1 tech
• Dress code requires maroon scrubs (not provided)
• Use MEDITECH charting system
• Call outs strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
• May be asked to precept as needed by the unit
