Physical Therapist Job in Caldwell, TX

CHI St Joseph Health Burleson Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Caldwell, TX. This is a full-time position running 84 days, beginning May 25, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 5x8 shifts
• Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,272

Role Responsibilities

• Float between inpatient and outpatient settings
• Deliver 7 treatment hours per day with a mix of inpatient and outpatient patients
• Treat general PT cases including fractures, orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, neurological cases (10–15%), and amputations
• Work with skilled nursing facility patients presenting with general conditions, wounds, orthopedic, neurological, and debility cases
• Handle acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled, and outpatient cases
• Precept as needed by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Current Texas national PT license
• BLS certification
• Inpatient and outpatient experience required
• Wound care experience preferred but not required

Work Environment

• Supportive nursing and therapy team including 2–3 PTAs and 1 tech
• MEDITECH charting system
• Maroon scrubs required (not provided)
• Holiday rotation may be required as discussed during interview
• Call-outs strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
