Physical Therapist Job in Plano, TX

Medical City Plano is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026. This is a day shift role, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with two rotating weekend shifts per month. The assignment runs for 91 days at $2,456 per week.

In this position, you will provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments across multiple acute care settings within the hospital. You will work with patients on Trauma Level 1, Neuroscience, ICU, ECMO, Burn, Oncology, Orthopedic and Spine floors, as well as in Inpatient Rehabilitation units. Your daily responsibilities will include assisting patients with mobility and recovery using therapy equipment such as walking aids, exercise bikes, parallel bars, and treadmills.

Key Details:

• Day shift only with no on-call or floating requirements

• Work across acute care hospital and inpatient rehabilitation settings
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital or inpatient rehabilitation experience required

Candidate Requirements:

You must have a minimum of one year of experience in acute care hospital settings or inpatient rehabilitation. Candidates with work history limited to skilled nursing facilities, outpatient therapy, pediatrics, or school settings will not be considered. Strong acute care hospital skills and inpatient rehabilitation experience are essential for this role.
