Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist Outpatient

Job Details:

• Outpatient schedule Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Primary focus on outpatient setting with possible flex to acute care
• Weekend and holiday coverage in acute care setting may be required
• Daily census of 6 to 8 patients with up to 8 visits per day
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include outpatient therapy and aquatics
• Minimum 1 year of experience in physical therapy required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certification: BLS
• Key skills include orthopedics, gait training, aquatic therapy, outpatient clinic, post-op rehabilitation, total hip and knee replacements, spinal conditions, and wound care
• Additional skills include evaluation, plan of care, patient and family education, home exercise program, and vital sign monitoring
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, interpretation services, and unit secretary
