PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Float between inpatient and outpatient care within the same facility
• Treat 7 treatment hours per day with a combination of inpatient and outpatient patients
• Productivity expectation of 24 units in an 8-hour day
• Serve patients in a 25-bed critical access hospital with an average length of stay of 14 days
• Common diagnoses include general SNF, wounds, orthopedic, neurological, debility, and amputations
• Cover inpatient and outpatient areas including acute, observation, skilled, and wound care patients
• Perform evaluations and develop individual treatment plans and goals to maximize functional outcomes
• Participate in discharge planning, implement treatment programs, and reassess treatment results
• Wound care experience preferred but not required
• Inpatient and outpatient experience required
• New graduates accepted with a minimum of six months of experience
• May be asked to precept as needed
• Rotate holidays with staff as needed
• Maroon scrubs required - not provided by facility
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Required certifications: BLS Certification, Texas state license, and national license
