Physical Therapist Job in Navasota, TX

CHI St Joseph Health Grimes Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for an 84-day travel assignment beginning August 10, 2026. You will work Monday through Friday, 5x8 days, with shift options of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no weekend or on-call requirements.

Role Overview

You will float between inpatient and outpatient care within the same 25-bed critical access hospital. You will deliver 7 treatment hours daily, with a productivity expectation of 24 units per 8-hour day. Your patient population includes those with general skilled nursing facility needs, wounds, orthopedic conditions, neurological diagnoses, debility, and amputations. You will perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement programs to maximize functional outcomes. You will also participate in discharge planning and reassess treatment results as needed.

Requirements

• Current Texas state license and national license (Physical Therapy)
• BLS Certification
• Inpatient and outpatient experience required
• New graduates accepted with a minimum of six months of experience
• Wound care experience preferred but not required

Additional Details

You will cover inpatient and outpatient areas including acute, observation, skilled, and wound care patients. The facility uses MEDITECH for charting. You may be asked to precept as needed and will rotate holidays with staff. Maroon scrubs are required and are not provided by the facility.

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay is $2,491. This is an 84-day assignment.
