RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• Schedule consists of 2 shifts of 10 hours (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and 2 shifts of 8 hours (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) equaling a 36-hour work week
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Patient ratio is 1:2 with 3 rooms, 11 beds, and an average daily census of 20
• Must be able to work through pre/post, circulate, and tech roles
• Required procedures and skills include: ERCP (experience required), ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS Procedures, Colonoscopy, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), and ION Procedure
• Additional skills required: Administering and monitoring conscious sedation, inpatient care
• Unit systems used: Pyxis and Epic
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Call requirements: 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call per 6-week schedule
• Weekend requirement: 2-3 weekends per contract
• Maximum requested time off is 7 days per contract
• Time off blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th - 12th)
• No floating required
• Holiday work expectations: If 1-2 major holidays fall within assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall within assignment, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
• Major holidays include: New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
