Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Patient ratios: Days 1:6, Nights 1:7, Weekends 1:8
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience is required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Candidates must float as needed
• Any color nursing uniform scrubs accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• New York state license required
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Common patient diagnoses include COPD, pneumonia, non-specific abdominal pain, cellulitis, and chest pain rule out
• Required skills include: MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, blood product administration, central line care and management, peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, CVA management, seizure disorders, substance withdrawal, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, and isolation precautions/PPE
