CVOR Technologist Job in Fort Myers, FL

Health Park Medical Center is seeking a CVOR Technologist to join our cardiovascular operating room team in Fort Myers, FL. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026, offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to work in a specialized surgical environment.

Position Overview

You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week with varied start times. This role requires you to function as core staff within the unit, maintaining the high standards of cardiac and open-heart surgical support. You will be expected to integrate seamlessly with the existing team and contribute to patient care excellence.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technology experience required
• Demonstrated heavy cardiac and open-heart experience in a CVOR setting is essential
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• BLS certification required; CST certification preferred
• On-call availability: approximately 1 weekend per month and 1 to 2 days per week from end of shift to 6:30 AM
• Floating required within the unit; travelers are prioritized for float assignments and may be assigned to other sister campuses
• Subject to a 50-mile radius rule from your permanent address

Scheduling and Time Off

All requested time off must be submitted at the time of assignment submission. Time-off requests cannot be approved after the initial submission, so plan accordingly for your 89-day contract.

Compensation
