Occupational Therapist Job in Pahala, HI

Ka'u Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 182-day travel assignment in our Rehab and Acute Rehab settings. You will work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, at $2,288 per week.

Your Role

You will evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by ordering physicians, and manage a full caseload of adult patients independently. You will regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs, and determine when re-evaluations are appropriate based on insurance authorization.

• Duration: 182 days
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (Days)
• Location: Pahala, HI

Requirements

• Active Hawaii state license (must be in place by assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years work experience in outpatient and acute settings with adult patients
• BLS certification from American Red Cross
• Availability to arrive Thursday before your start date for employee health appointment on Friday
• Willingness to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary based on hospital operations

Systems and Equipment

You will work with EMR, Net Health Therapy, and Meditech systems.
