Occupational Therapist in Hilo, HI

You will work as an Occupational Therapist at Hilo Medical Center in Hilo, Hawaii. This is a 182-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Schedule and Setting

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 days)
• Work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as required by hospital operations
• Coverage in Rehab and Acute Rehab departments

Your Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by ordering physicians
• Independently manage a full caseload
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization requirements
• Utilize EMR systems including Net Health Therapy and Meditech

Requirements

• Active Hawaii state occupational therapy license required by start of assignment
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in outpatient and acute settings with adults
• BLS certification from American Red Cross
• You must arrive Thursday before your start date for employee health appointment on Friday

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,423.60.
