MRI Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health - UMA - Clements Ferry Pavilion is seeking an MRI Technologist to join its radiology team. You will perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols, supporting physician interpretation and patient care.

Position Details

• Primary schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8 shifts (12:30 PM – 9:00 PM)
• Alternative schedules considered: 4x10s (10:30 AM – 9:00 PM) and 3x12s (8:30 AM – 9:00 PM)
• Some Saturday shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; weeks without Saturday work equal 40 hours Monday–Friday; weeks with Saturday include four 8-hour weekday shifts plus one 8-hour Saturday shift
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float between Clements Ferry and East Cooper locations
• Guaranteed hours with facility permitted to call off one shift per two weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• BLS certification
• Either ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification; state license not required
• Radiation badge (provided by agency)

Required Skills and Experience

• General MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac imaging
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Sectra and Epic experience preferred
• Epic charting system (preferred)

Dress Code

• Teal top, black pants

You will report to the site supervisor and manager of radiology. This assignment runs for 91 days, beginning July 27, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,534.40.
