ICU RN Job in Cleveland, OH

You'll work as an RN in a 10-bed Heart Failure ICU at Cleveland Medical Center, a large Magnet Academic Medical Center. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 days per week
• Weekly pay: $2,229
• Clinical setting: Intensive Care Unit specializing in heart failure care

Patient Population & Experience Required:

You will care for patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and mechanical support. Swan-Ganz catheter experience is required for hemodynamic assessment and management. You will work with LVAD (left ventricular assist device) and heart transplant patients, providing specialized nursing care during their critical recovery phases.

Technical Competencies:

• Swan-Ganz catheter placement and hemodynamic monitoring
• LVAD management (required experience)
• IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump) experience preferred
• Impella device experience preferred

Your role includes continuous monitoring of complex hemodynamic parameters, medication management, device troubleshooting, and patient education. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, surgeons, perfusionists, and respiratory therapists in a Magnet-designated facility committed to nursing excellence and evidence-based practice.

This assignment offers you the opportunity to deepen your expertise in advanced cardiac care while working in an academic medical center setting. You'll be part of a specialized ICU team managing some of the most critically ill cardiac patients.
