Opportunity:

RN - Oncology

Job Details:

• No on-call responsibilities required
• No weekend requirements
• Must have 2+ years of current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion
• Chemotherapy Certification (ONS) required
• Oncology Certified RN (OCN) certification required
• Peripheral IV insertion experience required
• Port/Fistula/Catheter experience required
• IV Certification highly preferred
• EPIC experience required
• BSN preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: CHEMO, OCN, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• New York state nursing license required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Skills checklist current to within one year required
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color, no designs or cartoons, no hoodies
• Administer a wide range of infusion treatments including IV antibiotics, blood transfusions, IVIG therapy, iron infusions, and hydration therapy
• Provide care and maintenance of central venous access devices and PICC lines
• Administer specialty medications for conditions including Crohn's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and ALS
• Perform therapeutic phlebotomies and teach patients self-administration of medications
