Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Adaptive acuity unit requiring flexibility to provide both Med Surg Tele and PCU care as needed
• PCU care assignments at a 3:1 ratio are non-negotiable and may not be refused
• Standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5
• 25-bed unit
• Charge nurse experience is required - travelers without charge experience will not be considered
• Drip experience is required, including insulin drips, esmolol drips, and sodium drips
• Must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
• 48-hour guarantee is not available for this position
• Every other weekend required with holidays required as needed
• 2+ years of current Med Surg/Tele experience required
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience strongly required
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 months of previous travel experience required (non-negotiable)
• Small critical access facility experience preferred
• Must have own vehicle
• All requested time off must be submitted and verified at time of upload - RTO requests after upload or during interview will not be approved
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Vermont RN License or Compact license required
• Skills checklists required for Progressive Care Unit/PCU, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry (current within 1 year)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
