PCU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Grady Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Atlanta, GA. This is a 110-week travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026, working 3 shifts of 12 hours on nights.

Role Overview

You will work in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU unit caring for patients with acute cardiac conditions. Your patient ratio will be 1:3–4, allowing you to provide focused, attentive care in a structured environment.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Care for patients presenting with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and related cardiac events
• Administer and manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• Monitor telemetry and respond to rhythm changes
• Perform assessments and interventions consistent with PCU protocols
• May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower acuity patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of documented PCU experience in a similarly sized facility
• BLS certification (current)
• ACLS certification (current)
• Work history must clearly reflect PCU experience

Compensation and Schedule

You will earn $1,918.44 per week. This assignment runs for 110 weeks with night shifts only, providing schedule consistency and a stable income over an extended period.
