PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PreOp

Job Details:

• Variable start times ranging from as early as 5:30 AM to as late as 11:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• No weekend shifts required
• Patient ratio of 5 patients per nurse during day shifts
• Care for patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• California RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA or ARC only)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Key clinical skills required include pre-op assessment and education, conscious sedation, airway assessment, malignant hyperthermia protocol, nerve blocks, medication reconciliation, pain assessment and management, PCA pump management, and management of pediatric patients
