PreOp RN Job in Tracy, CA

Sutter Health Tracy Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PreOp/Post Anesthesia Care (PACU) department. You will work 4x10-hour day shifts and earn $2,225 weekly on an 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate patient outcomes in the PreOp and ambulatory surgery setting
• Provide direct patient care and education to patients and families
• Manage transitions of care and develop individualized, interdisciplinary plans that address psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Foster collaborative communication between patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Document all patient interactions and clinical decisions using the EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Current California RN licensure
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• Ambulatory surgery or Phase II PACU experience within the past 2 years
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC) — must be obtained prior to start date
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
