About this role

You will perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures, delivering accurate images and measurements that support physician diagnosis and patient care. Your work includes advanced procedures such as transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), stress echo, arterial and renal studies, and transcranial Doppler imaging.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide preliminary reports of critical results to nurses and physicians to enable timely treatment interventions
  • Assist physicians with complex procedures in the operating room, hybrid lab, and catheterization lab, including TAVR, SAVR, Tandem heart, Lariet procedures, and pseudoaneurysm compression
  • Perform adult and pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures as required
  • Review patient data and reports prior to procedures to ensure comprehensive assessment
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, transducers, and digital networking systems independently
  • Exercise clinical judgment in notifying physicians of abnormal results and communicating findings to cardiologists
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedural data in patient charts and departmental tracking systems
  • Manage patient scheduling, equipment inventory, and supply needs
  • Participate in departmental quality assurance and accreditation processes
  • Serve in on-call rotation as needed

Requirements: Minimum six months of related ultrasound experience. You must hold current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification from ARDMS, or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) certification from CCI. BLS certification and current competency in two specialty practices are required. Vascular ultrasound skills are essential. Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking and communication skills is necessary when collaborating with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare staff.

Position Details: This is a travel assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Yale Campus—Hospital. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week for 89 days, beginning October 5, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,655.
