About this role

You will perform advanced cardiac and peripheral vascular ultrasound procedures, including TEE, stress echo, arterials, renals, and transcranial Doppler studies. Your expertise will support physicians in complex procedural environments—the OR, Hybrid lab, Cath lab, and CAD—where you assist with TAVR, SAVR, Tandem heart, Lariet, and pseudoaneurysm compression procedures.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Operate ultrasound equipment and ancillary devices, selecting appropriate transducers and managing digital networking systems
  • Review pertinent patient data and reports before each procedure to ensure readiness
  • Provide preliminary reports of critical results to nurses and physicians to support time-sensitive intervention
  • Exercise clinical judgment in notifying reading physicians of abnormal findings and reporting results to cardiologists
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedural data in patient charts and departmental tracking systems
  • Schedule patients efficiently and anticipate equipment and supply needs
  • Process charging and administrative data accurately and timely
  • Participate in departmental quality assurance and National Accreditation processes
  • Serve in on-call rotation as needed after regular business hours
  • Work independently using critical thinking and collaborate effectively with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare staff

Requirements: Minimum six months of related experience and venous insufficiency experience required. Procedural experience with venous insufficiency is preferred. You must hold current certification as Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS, OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from CCI. Current BLS certification and demonstrated competency in two specialty practices through ARDMS or CCI registry are required. High school diploma or GED required.

Position Details: This is an 89-day travel assignment at Yale Campus—Hospital in Tulsa, OK. You will work 5x8 day shifts at $2,941 per week, with a start date of September 21, 2026.
