Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required; first time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
• Call required - typically one weekday/call per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Weekend shifts rotate per contract
• Holiday work required - if one or two major holidays fall during assignment period, traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall during assignment period, traveler is expected to work two
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• No self-scheduling; block schedules are not honored
• Travel pairs are not accepted
• Charting system experience required; Epic experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Required skills include: CABG, CVOR, TAVR, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, Mitral Valve Replacement, MAZE Procedure, Carotid Endarterectomy, Thoracotomy, VATS, and other cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services and interpretation services
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule requests permitted post offer or onsite
• Maximum RTO: 7 days per contract
