CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work overnight shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling type
• Night patient ratio of 4 patients
• May be asked to float to other campus locations - must be flexible
• Must reside more than 150 miles from the facility
• 2 years of experience in CT technology required
• Travel experience preferred
• GE experience strongly preferred
• Altera charting experience preferred, not required
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Performs CT imaging across a wide range of patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Skilled procedures include: 3D rendering, abdomen with/without contrast, chest imaging, head imaging, pelvis imaging, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, enterography, musculoskeletal trauma, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Additional skills include: starting peripheral IVs, venipuncture, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Interdisciplinary support provided by Radiology department
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
• Required credentials: Texas Medical Board - MRT
• 40 orientation hours required
