PCU Nurse Job in Cleveland, OH

You will provide direct nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit at Cleveland Medical Center. Your role centers on managing patients with complex medical and surgical conditions who require close monitoring and skilled interventions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to PCU patients, including those with trauma-related injuries
• Monitor vital signs and hemodynamic parameters, responding promptly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Implement PCU protocols and participate in emergency response procedures as needed
• Assess patient needs and provide direct patient and family support
