Electrophysiology Lab RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Electrophysiology Lab. This is a 91-day travel position starting July 13, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, day shifts
• Flexible start times: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, or 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Rotating call requirements: Saturday (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and Sunday (7:00 AM to 2:00 PM) approximately once every four to six weeks
• Weekly pay: $2,145

Responsibilities

• Admit and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including pre-procedure checklists, IV starts, and access preparation
• Prepare patients for Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• Recover patients following Cath procedures who received conscious sedation
• Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures including CV and TEE
• Discharge patients with teaching, documentation, and physical discharge coordination
• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform patient tests and administer medications within the scope of registered nursing practice
• Work with high-risk, high-acuity patients in a fast-paced cardiac care environment

Requirements

• Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience in PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center evaluated on a case-by-case basis
