Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts with varying start times: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, or 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Schedule consists of 3 shifts per week (3 x 12s)
• Call requirements include Saturday (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and Sunday (7:00 AM to 2:00 PM) on a rotational basis, approximately once every four to six weeks
• Admit and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures including charting pre-procedure checklist, IV starts, and access preparation
• Prepare patients for Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• Recover patients following Cath procedures who received conscious sedation
• Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures including CV and TEE
• Discharge patients including teaching, documentation, and physical discharge
• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of registered nursing practice
• Work with high risk, high acuity patients in a fast-paced cardiac care environment
• Experience in PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center considered on a case-by-case basis
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Arizona RN license or compact state license required
