Electrophysiology Lab RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Electrophysiology Lab. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3x12s)
• Day shifts with variable start times: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, or 8:00 AM–8:30 PM
• Rotating Saturday and Sunday call approximately once every four to six weeks
• Saturday call: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; Sunday call: 7:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,145

Role Responsibilities

• Provide high-level care for Cardiac Observation Unit (COU) patients before and after Cath Lab procedures
• Admit and prep patients for Cath procedures, including pre-procedure checklists, IV starts, and access preparation
• Prepare patients for Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• Recover patients following Cath procedures involving conscious sedation
• Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures including CV and TEE
• Discharge patients with teaching, documentation, and physical discharge support
• Evaluate assigned patients, plan and implement nursing care, and document all interventions
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform patient tests and administer medications within scope of practice
• Work with high-risk, high-acuity patients

Requirements

• Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience in PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center considered on a case-by-case basis
