ICU RN Job in Nashville, TN

You'll work as an RN in a 16-bed Intensive Care Unit at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of September 14, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with typical ratios of 2:1, occasionally 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity and staffing levels
• Operate and manage advanced equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000
• Document patient information using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Perform and assist with procedures including central line insertion, arterial line placement, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions
• Work with unit secretaries during day shift and nurse externs working as techs
• Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members

Schedule and Expectations

• Work 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Schedule runs in 4-week increments with self-scheduling available at manager discretion
• Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule required
• As contract labor, you are first to float; if staffing needs exist in med/surg or other units, you may be assigned to float and accept that assignment

Requirements and Compensation

• Active RN license required
• Prior ICU experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required for dress code
• Weekly pay: $1,801
