Scrub Tech - Scrub Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour day shifts with variable start times, normally 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with possible start times as early as 6:30 AM or as late as 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM depending on cases
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call required 1-2 times per week from end of shift to 7:00 AM the following day
• Occasional weekend call coverage required - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through 7:00 AM on Monday
• Holiday call is required; no holiday shifts
• Work in a 3 OR and 1 endoscopy room unit
• Maintain a sterile back table during cases and hold retractors and cameras for extended periods
• Perform central supply and sterilization duties
• Surgical specialties include ortho, general, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, colonoscopy, and EGD
• Strong orthopedic and C-section experience required
• Use Epic charting system and standard surgical supplies and instruments
• Scrub colors provided by facility
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: AHA or ARC BLS, CST license required
• Must have completed a Surgical Technologist program at an accredited institution and passed the certification exam
• Associate degree or certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
