Physical Therapist Inpatient Rehab Job in Augusta, GA

You will work as a Physical Therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation setting at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexible start and end times available. Standard shifts are 8 hours. During your 13-week assignment, you will be required to work 2 weekends as part of the regular staff rotation, with 2 additional days off during the week to compensate. Your weekly pay is $1,898.

Your Role

You will treat an average of 3–4 patients per day, with a typical caseload of 4–6 patients. Occasionally you may treat up to 5 patients in a single day. You will work on a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with no floating policy, allowing you to focus on continuity of care for your patients.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment using specialized equipment: hi-low mats, NuStep, parallel bars, steps, balls, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, and BITS interactive computer system
• Perform wound care procedures on the unit
• Document patient care using the Meditech system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of patient care experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with inpatient rehabilitation and the Care Tool preferred
• Black scrubs and closed-toe shoes required
