Job Details:

• Must have CT experience
• Perform radiographic CT examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation
• Exercise professional judgment in performance of procedures applying principles of radiation protection
• Perform diagnostic medical radiography within department and other areas
• Maintain patient records and files
• Rotate shifts as required
• Must be willing and able to take call and report to work within 20 minutes
• Must be able to perform duties in two fields of imaging and willing to work outside of primary modality (Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Mammography)
• Assist with invasive procedures and maintain knowledge of these procedures
• Consult with referring physicians
• Operate and set up automatic injector
• Competent in tele-radiology transmission and sterile technique
• Assist in supply inventory and ordering and complete daily/weekly quality control
• Provide care appropriate to patients across all age groups from newborn through geriatric
• Alter routine protocols to provide quality care to pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients
• Work in conjunction with Imaging Manager and Director to support organizational goals
• Review, edit, correct, and validate PACS to ensure accurate patient procedure image labeling
• Assign daily staffing schedules and coordinate new staff orientation
• Serve as an expert resource for clinical, technical, and process-related questions
• Required certifications: Current ARRT in Radiography or Current ARDMS in one category (Abd or OB/GYN), BLS certification required
• Must provide 2 fingerprint cards upon acceptance of position
