Telemetry RN Job in Steubenville, OH

Join Southwest – UPMC Trinity as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, offering you the opportunity to deliver quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Position Overview

You will work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, totaling approximately 36 hours weekly. Your role centers on managing and providing direct patient care activities for a group of patients and their families. You will apply independent judgment, communication skills, and collaboration with all team members to deliver evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate daily goals and individualized plans of care that involve patients as partners and address their holistic needs
• Apply the nursing process within the framework of Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment
• Demonstrate critical thinking in identifying clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual issues affecting patient outcomes
• Utilize research and evidence-based practice to support continuous improvement in clinical care delivery
• Actively participate in department or unit-specific quality improvement initiatives
• Provide detailed and appropriate patient and family education to guide them through their episode of care
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, other health care providers, patients, and families

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
